Wine Pie Crust Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250g (8.8 oz) all-purpose flour
  • 75ml (2.5 fl oz) extra virgin olive oil
  • 85ml (2.9 fl oz) white wine (lukewarm)
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, mix together the flour and baking powder.
  2. Add Wet Ingredients: Slightly warm up the white wine. Add the olive oil and warmed wine to the flour mixture.
  3. Form the Dough: Work the mixture with your hands until you achieve a smooth dough.
  4. Prepare the Tin: Use your hands to pat the dough into a tin lined with baking paper. Raise the dough around the edges. Poke holes into the dough with a fork.
  5. Add Filling and Bake: Add your filling of choice. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes.
